Let's Talk Sex

With the current sex education curriculum in Ireland in dire need of updating, this sex ed toolkit is an attempt to start the journey for change. The toolkit is a student-teacher-parent toolkit that aims to help create a more comfortable conversation when discussing sex in the classroom or at home.


This toolkit is based off of Paulo Freire's 'Theory of Education' and is applied, ("Effective education is built upon democratic equals who are open to learning from one another.") When this theory is applied to our curriculum, and we create an environment where students learn from their peers, teachers and parents, we can create a more updated and reliable source for sex education classes whilst including everyone.
